Five questions with Vanderbilt senior point guard Brad Tinsley

Q: What's the toughest place to play on the road in the SEC?

A: I'd have to say Rupp Arena, in my personal opinion. They (Kentucky) just have great heritage there, and every time we play them there they're always on a long winning streak. They play with a lot of confidence there.

Q: Do people still ask you about the dunk that you had over Chandler Parsons last year?

A: Not as much as they used to. Every once in a while someone will tell me something about it. It's still on our team highlight video.

Q: You realize that Chandler is starting in the NBA now with the Houston Rockets?

A: Yeah, I know. I'm really happpy for him. I try to follow some of his games. He's a great player and he's a great guy.

Q: Your team has had to battle some injuries early in the season. Do you sense things coming together?

A: It's easy to get bumps and bruises, especially at the end of the season. Right now, everyone is getting back to being fully healthy. We have more bodies in practice and that's allowed us to get back in the flow of things a little bit.

Q: What's it like playing for Kevin Stallings?

A: It's really nice. He's a very hard-nosed guy. Strict. You have to bring it every night. One of the best X's-and-O's guys I've been around. Not only does he impact you as a basketball player, but he impacts you as a person as well. He wants to see you succeed in life, not just in basketball.
