Cox announces increases in Internet speeds

Cox Communications announced that it boosted Internet speeds for Florida and Georgia customers effective Wednesday.
Download speeds for customers with the Preferred package increased from 15 to 18 megabits per second while upload speeds remained at 2 Mbps. Upload speeds for the Essential package increased from 384 kilobits per second to 768 kbps and download speeds remained 3 Mbps, while upload speeds for the Start package increased from 256 kbps to 384 kbps and download speeds remained 1 Mbps.
