The U.S. Marshal’s Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested two fugitives in Alachua County Tuesday on warrants.

In addition to deputy U.S. marshals, task force members from the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office and Gainesville Police Department worked on making the arrests.

At 2:45 p.m., Martrell Green, 21, was arrested inside an apartment at 925 SE 43rd St., which is in the Eastwood Meadows apartment complex in Gainesville.

Green was wanted for robbery with a firearm, a charged that was filed after Green was implicated in the armed robbery of an Internet cafe in January.

At 4:30 p.m., task force members arrested Roderick Johnson, 28, inside a camping trailer in Lacrosse

Johnson was wanted by the Alachua Police Department on an aggravated battery charge that was filed after what police said was a violent physical attack on Jan. 26. After Johnson was arrested, task force members said they found several rounds of .22-caliber ammunition in his pocket.

Green and Johnson were booked into the Alachua County jail.
