Aaron Green: Why I support Armando Grundy
Armando Grundy has maintained his independence to vote the interest of the citizens of District 1 by not accepting campaign contributions from sitting city commissioners. These commissioners expect his opponent, Yvonne Hayes Hinson-Rawls, to vote and support, and not reverse, their past polices (can someone say biomass). Their endorsement and cash campaign contributions will no doubt also influence her to vote with them in support of future city policy issues, perhaps contrary to the interest of District 1 voters.
Vote for Armando Grundy on January 31st. He has the correct focus on upgrading RTS transportation service and improving the city's regulatory process to promote more private business investment in East Gainesville.
