Despite getting no private time with "The Bachelor" Ben Flajnik in Monday night's episode, Ocala-connected Lindzi Cox survived the cut to continue the quest for a possible proposal on the popular reality show.
The champion equestrian from Seattle who trained in Ocala as a child did go on a group fly-fishing date, but did not get any personal attention from the winemaker from California's Sonoma Valley. Instead, she fished. Neither did she get any private time during the week's wrap-up cocktail party.
Nevertheless, Cox was awarded the first flower in the episode's rose ceremony. Next week, Flajnik and the remaining 11 hopefuls leave the first snowfall of Utah for the sun and surf of Puerto Rico.
"The Bachelor" airs at 8 p.m. Mondays on ABC.
