Revival

Jesus is the Light Christian Center will be hosting a one night teaching revival.

New Life in Christ Believers Tabernacle Outreach Ministry Inc. will be hosting its 2012 Prayer Discerning of Spirits Deliverance Revival.

It will be held at 7:30 p.m. through Friday at the church at 680 NE 23rd Ave., Suite B. The revival will be led by Prophetess Cheryl Kirksey of Eagle Outreach Ministries in Jackson, Tenn.

Health, healing

Spirit of Faith Christian Center will be hosting a free Health and Healing Convention featuring Dr. Don Colbert, a world renown author and medical doctor.

It will be held at 7 p.m. Jan. 20 at the church's east location at 1414 NE 23rd Ave. Colbert will speak about how to live longer, eat well and control health challenges, such as cancer, diabetes, hypertension and high cholesterol. There also will be prayer for the sick.

Family/Friends

Johnson Chapel Baptist Church will be celebrating Family & Friends Day.

Men in Black

Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church will be hosting its Men-in-Black Program 2012.

It will be held at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 21 at the church at 4303 Wacahoota Road in Micanopy. The speaker will be Elder Neil Butler, associate pastor of Greater Love & Faith Ministries Inc. in Gainesville.

The program also will feature the male chorus from Springhill Baptist Church in southeast Gainesville, praise dancers and others.

Meetings

The Women's Covenant Group will meet the third Thursday of each month from January-November.
