YEAR: Senior

HEIGHT: 6-foot

WEIGHT: 165 pounds

A rea basketball player I would pay to watch play: Herman McClendon of Chiefland. He plays similar to the way I play. He controls the whole game and gets his teammates involved.

B est movie I’ve ever seen?: “3 Strikes.” There is a lot of joking in the movie. It makes me laugh.

C oach Steve Faulkner’s best words of advice for me: “Go out and play like it’s your last game and to punch first. Go out and start off playing the hardest.”

D inner on an ideal night: Red Lobster with (former Kentucky star and current Detroit Piston) Brandon Knight and my mom Twila Robinson. I’d order a lobster.

E ffect the death of former Williston star Isaac Floyd has had on this year’s team: It has been hard. When I’m on the court, all I think about is Isaac. I think about him telling me to control the game. (Note: Floyd, a Class of 2010 former two-sport star for the Red Devils, died on Dec. 17, 2011.)

F avorite thing about living in Williston: Coming to the gym five days a week, getting shots up and lifting weights. There is nothing else to do here.

G ame-winning 3-pointer or drive to the basket, or delivering a nice pass that leads to the winning basket? Giving a nice no-look pass that leads to the winning basket. Everybody will be focused on me, and I want to get my teammates involved.

H oisting the national championship trophy at the end of the men’s college basketball season will be ... Kentucky. They have the best freshman class in America.

I nteresting thing about me away from basketball: I enjoy baking. I like baking cake and cookies. I like making a red velvet cake and chocolate chip cookies. I also make cupcakes, and I brought some in for the team three weeks ago.

J oker on the team: Tre Wilson. He jokes around with everybody and puts the team in a good mood.

K obe Bryant or LeBron James? Kobe Bryant. He is the leader of his team and he makes the right decisions.

L east favorite Williston sports moment: When we went to Lakeland and lost to Brandon Knight and Fort Lauderdale Pine Crest in the 2010 Class 3A final four.

M y pick to win Super Bowl XLVI is ... the Denver Broncos because of Timmy Tebow.

N ickname? King Ross. My older brother Kemeon Ross and some of my teammates started calling me that.

O ne person in my life who inspires me most: My mom, Twila Robinson. She always has my back and she always makes sure that my head is on straight.

P otential college major: Engineering.

Q uiet time activity: Lying in bed listening to music or studying.

R egional finalists last season, the goal for this year’s team is ... to work hard, win the District 5-4A title and win the Class 4A state championship.

S uperstition I have: I make sure my hair is picked out.

T witter or Facebook page status post? Facebook.

U niversities or colleges considering: I just want to play basketball in college.

V acation spot I love: The Bahamas. It is nice to get away from Florida.

W hat area players would I want to see in a four person one-on-one tournament and how it would go? Marcus Archer from Santa Fe, Calvin Long from GHS, Marcus Richards from Eastside and me. I’ll play Richards and win, 11-4 and Long would beat Archer, 11-5. Then I’d beat Calvin Long 12-10.

X box, PlayStation or Wii? PlayStation 3. I like playing NBA 2K12.

Y ear I was born: 1992.

Z oo animal I like most: The lion, because they are the king of all of the animals.
