Twitter announced Monday that Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow set a social media record at the wildcard playoff game against the Steelers Sunday night.
He set the new record for sports Tweets per second at 9,420. It just goes to show the nation was, in fact, atwitter about the Gator alum's 80-yard touchdown to end the game in overtime.
Tebow-related traffic spiked again with a lot of Retweets five hours later when @TimTebow sent out the following message: "Praise the Lord! Thanks to all my great teammates, coaches and fans...This win was for Bronco Nation!"
