True freshman quarterback Jacoby Brissett will get his second straight start Saturday night when Florida faces No. 24 Auburn at Jordan-Hare Stadium, The Sun learned Thursday.

Florida coach Will Muschamp announced Friday morning that Brissett will start.

Jeff Driskel will also dress and is expected to play in the game. The true freshman filled in for John Brantley against Alabama, but suffered a sprained ankle in the game and missed last week's loss at LSU.

Brissett shared quarterback duties last week with Trey Burton, the Florida F-back who was a Wildcat quarterback at times last season. Florida tailbacks Chris Rainey and Jeff Demps also took Wildcat snaps last week.

Brissett was 8-of-14 for 94 yards and a touchdown last week, but also threw two interceptions on deep balls. In four games, Driskel is 7-of-16 for 73 yards and two interceptions.

Brissett had to start last week despite not getting any repetitions at quarterback during the first four weeks of the season. With Brantley and Driskel both sidelined, Florida scaled down its offensive game plan for Brissett.

Both Florida coach Will Muschamp and offensive coordinator Charlie Weis said this week Florida will open up the playbook more for the Auburn game.

Brissett and Driskel both took snaps in practice this week.
