Picks trying to become bowl eligible

I've blamed the economy. I've blamed realignment. I've blamed Stephen Garcia. I've blamed Hank Williams Jr. I've blamed my dog.
Now it's time to man up.
So I'm blaming college football.
It's becoming so hard these days to pick games. For every game Dr. Football hits, there's a miss waiting around the corner. Ole Miss goes to California and wins? Come on. South Carolina can't score on Auburn's defense? Really? Texas A&M blows another big lead in the second half? Mind-boggling.
The Picks went 5-5 again last week (26-24 overall, ugh) so I'm going all Dan Mullen on you. In the preseason I was talking about winning it all and now I'm just hoping to become bowl eligible.
Florida at LSU: Florida's top two quarterbacks are limping around on campus in walking boots. One of its best defensive players has a legal issue. The starting free safety is coming off a suspension. The offensive line was exposed last week. LSU is No. 1 in the nation and hasn't lost at home since before Tim Tebow was a Bronco. Yeah, I like Florida's chances. LSU, 34-7.
Georgia at Tennessee: The last two times the Doggies have visited Rocky Top, they have been clobbered to the point of surrender. “Both of those games, before it was over, it looked like they beat us to the point where we gave in,” said Georgia coach Mark Richt. On a hunch, Georgia 28-24.
Oklahoma-Texas: Man, just thinking about this game next to the Texas State Fair makes me want to fry something. Bevo? Oklahoma, 35-21.
Auburn at Arkansas: Auburn has been playing havoc with The Picks. Does Auburn's lousy defense/good offense team show up or vice versa? Arkansas, 38-23.
Kentucky at South Carolina: The Connor Shaw Era begins. Again. South Carolina, 24-3.
Vanderbilt at Alabama: I made a Twitter comment about how the Auburn-UF game is at 7 and that means we get back to the hotel around 2 a.m., because its the second worst stadium behind Tuscaloosa's to get out of and I get besieged by Auburn and Alabama fans. At least I could bring them together. Alabama, 31-0.
Miami at Virginia Tech: The Picks did call Clemson's win over VaTech last week. So I've got that going for me. Miami, 23-21.
FSU at Wake Forest: If Wake wins, it will be its first 3-0 start in ACC play in school history. History can wait. FSU, 35-12.
Ohio State at Nebraska: So two of the “Tattoo Five” expected to be reinstated this week have to sit out this game because they were overpaid for summer jobs. Here's my question — is there an NCAA rule that Ohio State hasn't broken? Nebraska, 31-18.
Texas A&M at Texas Tech: If the Gaggies are going to keep blowing leads they may want to start wearing a star on their helmets. A&M, 31-24.
