Woman accused of damaging boyfriend’s car

A Newberry woman was arrested Friday night and accused of repeatedly driving her car into her boyfriend’s car, which then hit another person’s car, according to an Alachua County Sheriff’s Office arrest report.
Anna Ellen McCauley, 24, of 1128 SW 266th St., was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill, criminal mischief with property damage between $200 and $1,000, and criminal mischief with property damage of more than $1,000.
The incident occurred about 9:15 p.m. at the home she shared with her boyfriend. The arrest report states that McCauley rammed her car into the car of her boyfriend three times. He was inside the car the first time but then got out and hid behind a tree.
Another car was damaged when it was hit by the boyfriend’s car, the report states.
