Alabama running back

Why he's No. 1: Richardson has rushed for 1,451 yards and 14 touchdowns as Mark Ingram's back-up. He finally will get a chance to be the featured back and the weight room freak is chomping at the bit to cut loose.

Key number: 144, the number of yards Richardson gained in a game last year against Penn State when he was given the ball 22 times.

Fun fact: Richardson has been projected as the No. 12 pick in next year's NFL Draft by ESPN's Todd McShay.
