Why he's No. 16: It's still unclear whether Jackson will return to school after withdrawing last February due to personal reasons. But if he's back as expected, Jackson has proven he's a hard-hitter who is capable of covering as much ground as any safety in the conference.

Fun fact: Jackson also was a standout in track and field in the hurdles at Barbe High School in Lake Charles, La.
