Is this the year for Andre Debose to break out?

Unfortunately, Florida fans couldn't get a glimpse of Debose in April. That's because Debose sat out the spring game with a sprained ankle.

Injuries have curtailed the career of Debose since he arrived on campus in 2009 with the billing of being the next Percy Harvin. The speedy, five-star receiving recruit from Sanford sat out his entire first UF season after undergoing hamstring surgery.

In his redshirt freshman season at UF, Debose showed flashes of his big-play ability with two kickoff returns for touchdowns. But Debose struggled to find playing time on offense because of his inability to pick up the playbook.

With a new regime, Debose could get a second chance. Debose has the ability to become a vertical threat in new offensive coordinator Charlie Weis' pro-style offense. But Debose will need to prove that he's physically and mentally capable for the challenge.
