Florida freshman linebacker Neiron Ball remained at Shands Hospital on Wednesday being treated for a congenital vascular condition and there is “no additional information,” UF spokesman Steve McClain said.
Natalie Myricks, Ball's older sister, told the Palm Beach Post that Ball remains in ICU and his condition is improving.
Ball is a 6-foot-2 linebacker who appeared in all 13 games, mostly on special teams, in 2010 and finished with 10 tackles.
Ball, 18, had surgery on his groin to repair athletic pubalgia last month. Ball was expected to participate in spring drills.
