Fla. man fatally shoots girlfriend, then himself

The woman was shot shortly before 8 p.m. Tuesday during what Broward Sheriff's officials described as a domestic dispute.

Deputies say the man left the apartment with the couple's son. He left the child with his grandparents in Lauderdale Lakes, a suburb of Fort Lauderdale, before shooting himself to death in his vehicle.

The identities of the man and woman have not been released.
