Former U.S. Sen. and Florida Gov. Bob Graham will be speaking today at the University of Florida about the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.

Graham and William Reilly, co-chairman of a presidential commission investigating the spill, will be presenting their findings starting at 6 p.m. in Pugh Hall's Ocora. The event is free and open to the public and also will be streamed live from the website of UF's Graham Center for Public Service.

Graham headed a six-month investigation into the causes and circumstances of the April 20 spill with Reilly, former administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency under President George H.W. Bush. The commission's report, released Jan. 11, made recommendations on cleaning the Gulf and improving the safety of drilling.
