According to the Miami Herald, the Miami Dolphins have hired former Gator wide receiver Ike Hilliard as an assistant coach.
Hillard spent eight seasons with the New York Giants and four with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers before a neck injury forced him to retire after the 2008 season.
He spent the past two seasons coaching with the United Football League's Florida Tuskers as a wide receivers coach.
It is unknown if he will assume the same position with the Dolphins.
