Allison Mervau scored twice to lift P.K. Yonge to a 2-1 win over Oak Hall in Tuesday night's District 4-2A semifinal held at St. Francis.

Anya Bernhard added an assist for the Blue Wave (9-3-2), who will now face St. Francis for the district title on Friday night at 7 p.m.

With the win, P.K. Yonge clinched its sixth straight regional playoff appearance. The Blue Wave, who lost to the Wolves in last year's district championship game, are looking for their fifth district title in six years.

Mervau, an all-area first team selection the last two seasons, gave the Blue Wave a 1-0 edge as she scored on a penalty kick in the 34th minute.

But Oak Hall's Alex Gibbs also found the back of the net on a penalty kick to tie the contest in the 63rd minute. However, with two minutes remaining in regulation, Mervau, a junior, netted the game-winner to propel the Blue Wave.

The Eagles end the season at 3-8-2 and failed to reach the regional playoffs for the third consecutive year.

District 5-3A: Williston knocked off Fort White, 3-1 in Tuesday's quarterfinals.

The Red Devils advanced to play top-seeded and tournament host Suwannee in tonight's semifinals at 7.

Santa Fe will face Newberry in the first semifinal at 5 p.m. with the winners advancing to Friday night's district championship game.
