An earlier version of this article incorrectly reported who Archer Commissioner Marjorie Zander replaced as vice mayor.
After being appointed to an Archer City Commission seat in August and later winning it unopposed, Frank Ogborn was appointed mayor by his fellow commissioners on Monday.
With a 4-1 vote, Ogborn was selected to replace former mayor Roberta Lopez, said City Manager John Glanzer.
Marjorie Zander, elected in August 2009 during a special election, was elected vice mayor, replacing Blanch Parker.
