Union County defensive lineman Lonnie Gosha verbally committed to Arkansas on Wednesday, according to Rivals.com.

The 6-foot-3, 275-pound Gosha was The Gainesville Sun's small school defensive player of the year this past fall. Gosha posted 140 tackles, which included 15 sacks, and also had two interceptions for Union County, which finished 5-5 this past season.

Gosha, who in April committed to Florida State and then decommitted less than 24 hours later, ended up choosing the Razorbacks over scholarship offers from Florida, LSU, Alabama, UCLA, Georgia and Florida State among others.

The website lists Gosha as a four-star prospect and ranks him as the 15th-best defensive tackle recruit in the country. He is also rated as the nation's 169th overall prospect.

Gosha is a two-time preseason Gainesville Sun Super 11 selection as well as a 2009 Class 2B first-team All-State selection.
