It is a shame that families of players participating in the BCS National Championship game might not be able to watch it if they could not afford cable. As a matter of fact if they only have the local basic cable they still could not watch their favorite team.
It is not as if there are no commercials on ESPN that you already have to pay a premium to receive. I would be curious if the networks feel if we cannot afford premium cable or just watch TV over the airways that we would not be able to afford what ever is advertised during the game. It is just as shameful for college football in general. Only in for the money.
