The Gainesville/Alachua County commemorative celebration to honor the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. will be held through Jan. 19, the 27th annual celebration. The theme is "Renewed Commitment: Acceptance, Justice and Education." The celebration is sponsored each year by the Martin Luther King Jr. Commission of Florida Inc. and its community partners.
