GPD: Man punched stepfather at church
The stepfather was at a Bible study. A motive was not clear.

The Gainesville Police Department arrested a man Sunday morning who was accused of disrupting a Bible study by punching his stepfather in the face.
A motive for the incident was not immediately clear.
Sekou K. Alugbala, 37, who is also known as Alphonso Brown, was arrested on a charge of domestic battery. Police filed a sworn complaint against him for disrupting a church service. Alugbala listed the St. Francis House at 413 S. Main St. — a homeless shelter — as his address following his arrest.
Officer Joe Washington said the incident happened around 10:10 a.m., when Alugbala walked into a Bible study at the Church of Christ at 1034 SE 10th Ave.
Witnesses told police Alugbala punched his stepfather in the face with a closed fist. The victim said Alugbala then grabbed him from behind in a bear hug, and he grabbed Alugbala's hands to prevent him from throwing any additional punches.
Alugbala was booked into the Alachua County jail.
