Two men sought after home invasion robbery
GPD say the men held the victim down with a board and ransacked the home.

The Gainesville Police Department is searching for two men suspected of a home invasion robbery on Tuesday afternoon.
Investigators said the 22-year-old victim was attacked inside his home in the 900 block of Southwest Depot Avenue. The victim told police that Timothy Wayne Spruiell, 42, and Justin Kyle O’Ferrell, 20, entered his home, attacked him with a wooden board, held him down by his neck, then kicked him repeatedly and ransacked him home.
According to the victim, Spruiell and O’Ferrell left with an undisclosed amount of cash. The men may have left the scene in a gray sport utility vehicle with a Florida license plate that includes the letters and numbers “PU56H.”

Police spokesman Cpl. Tscharna Senn said the victim was treated at the scene.
