Johnie Mae Dallape: Please don't restrict airboat visitors

I am not fortunate enough to live in your great state, but frequently bring my dollars to Alachua County to spend. While there, I thoroughly enjoy idling along the lake’s edge on an airboat. The beauty there to enjoy is endless.
During my last visit to your wonderful state, I was fortunate enough to get to experience Orange Lake at night. I was in awe of the nighttime ecology I witnessed. I was able to see alligators and waterfowl up close in their natural habitat. I already have plans to visit again soon.
I recently learned an ordinance is being voted on in your county which will restrict the lakes at night. It greatly saddens me to know while there I might not be able to enjoy this again. Please don’t restrict visitors to your state from experiencing all your wonderful
