SEC Rewind: Kentucky 73, Alabama 67

What happened: Kentucky overcame an 11-point, first-half deficit to pull away in the second half and advance to the SEC Tournament semifinals.

Turning point: Down 40-34, Kentucky took control of the game with a 21-5 run midway through the second half. Freshman point guard John Wall scored three straight baskets on drives to the basket to tie the score at 42. Wall scored 10 points during the run.

Player of the Game: Wall had 23 points and five assists to lead the Wildcats. He has led UK in scoring 12 times this season.

Quote: "Coach told me to make a couple of plays. They told me the whole game to push it in transition, but I wasn't getting there. I was trying to find my teammates. Second half, I found the gaps and got into the lane," Wall on his 23-point performance.

Next up: vs. Ole Miss-Tennessee winner, Saturday at 1 p.m.
