FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Fort Lauderdale police say a 27-year-old man was electrocuted while trying to set up an antenna in his backyard.

The man's name wasn't immediately released Sunday, but his neighbors told the South Florida Sun-Sentinel that he had a wife and children.

Authorities say the death appears accidental. They believe he was setting up a metal rod for a pirate radio station when the electrocution occurred.
