Cleveland Jamison, 36, was given a notice to appear in court on a possession of drug paraphernalia. Officer Jay Dixon said charges of grand theft and dealing in stolen property are pending further investigation.

Dixon began talking to Jamison around 7:15 p.m. Saturday in the 700 block of Southwest 5th Street after stopping him and a woman with him for a bicycle violation. After Jamison voluntarily turned over the crack pipe, he reportedly told Dixon that he stole the faucets and DVDs from the three Wal-Mart stores in Gainesville over the last week and was planning to sell them on the streets to pay for his crack habit.
