Florida sophomore center Kenny Kadji will have surgery Wednesday to repair a herniated disc in his back.
The surgery will sideline the 6-foot-10 Kadji for the rest of the season.
Kadji had appeared in just eight games this season, averaging 1.0 points and 0.7 rebounds. He has not played since Dec. 19 against Richmond. As a freshman, Kadji averaged 4.4 points and 2.7 rebounds in 31 games.
Florida coach Billy Donovan announced the surgery Tuesday on his Twitter page.
