After about a half hour of wan-dering the La Chua trail in Paynes Prairie, I came upon this kooky creature scratching an itch, a blue heron perched on a dead tree overlooking the Alachua Sink. It was never my intention to specifically photograph birds, but it’s impossible not to shoot them since I see them everywhere I go. By now I have quite the collection of bird images. The longer you sit, the more birds you will see.
