MOBILE, Ala. — Florida quarterback Tim Tebow revealed Wednesday that he was sicker than he let on after Tuesday's practice.
When asked if he had to be hospitalized Monday night with a 103-degree temperature, Tebow said, "Let's just say I needed to see some doctors for a little bit."
Despite having strep throat, Tebow has not missed any practice time for Saturday's Senior Bowl.
"I'm feeling a lot better now," he said. "But you don't want to touch me, I've got strep throat."
Tebow said he's been sick since Saturday, but he should be full-go for Saturday's game.
Tebow had perhaps his best practice of the week Wednesday and appears to be getting more comfortable in a new offense and going under center. He dropped only one snap Wednesday.
"It's just a matter of getting used to something different," he said.
Tebow's roommate, UF wide receiver Riley Cooper, also had another good day, snagging a one-handed catch for the second day in a row that drew a loud cheer from the crowd.
