Boys playing with fire may have burned two mobile homes

Two boys playing with a lighter may have started a fired that damaged two mobile homes and two sheds late Monday afternoon. No injuries were reported.
According to the Alachua County Sheriff's Office, charges against the boys are pending further investigation by the State Fire Marshal's office.

The fire was reported at 5:10 p.m. at Arredondo Farms, a mobile home community at 7117 S. W. Archer Road.
Sheriff's spokesman Art Forgey said the shed where the fire was believe to have started was on lot 104. The fire did about $1,500 worth of damage to the home closest to theburning shed, about $500 worth of damage to a shed on an adjacent lot and an undetermined amount of damage to a neighboring mobile home.
