The "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" episode that was filmed in Gainesville this past December will air at 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 21, on ABC.

The show's host Ty Pennington and his design crew spent a week on Northeast Seventh Street building a new house for Tobin and Jill Wagstaff and their four children. The Wagstaffs founded the non-profit music school Studio Percussion in 2002 to help youths and promote musical arts through classes and performances. The couple operated the school out of their old home, where the main studio was also the bedroom for two of the children. The school serves more than 200 students, half of whom receive financial aid or full scholarships.

With help of tons of volunteers, local company Ark Remodeling and Construction coordinated the work on 3,500-square-foot home, which features a modern look with its bold angles and colors and unique mix of materials.
