Calvin Hankerson Sr., 52, was arrested at 2 p.m. Tuesday by the Bradford County Sheriff's Office and booked into the county jail.

The investigation is looking at events that occurred in November. The child, who is now 15, is pregnant and was reportedly sexually assaulted by someone she did not know.

Sheriff's spokesman Major Brad Smith said the investigation is ongoing and may include other suspects.

According to Smith, the charges filed against Hankerson involve the 15-year-old-girl who told investigators that Hankerson ordered her to get into his car and then dropped her off at the sex offender's home. Hankerson knew the 30-year-old man at the home was a convicted sex offender, Smith said.
