W2W4: What to Watch for in SEC men's basketball.
After knocking off former No. 1 Kansas at home last Sunday with just six scholarship players, No. 10 Tennessee will look to continue its magic on Saturday at Thompson-Boling Arena against No. 21 Ole Miss. The Vols have continued to win despite dismissing senior forward Tyler Smith from the team indefinitely after he was arrested on drug and weapons charges. UT center Brian Williams, forward Cameron Tatum and guard Melvin Goins remain suspended from the team indefinitely after also being involved in the incident.
Former Florida assistants Anthony Grant and John Pelphrey will face off against each other for the first time as head coaches when Alabama plays at Arkansas on Saturday.
Both off to surprising 2-0 starts in SEC play, Vanderbilt will play at South Carolina in a big divisional matchup for both teams. The Gamecocks are playing well despite losing senior forward Dominique Archie for the season with a knee injury that required surgery.
