CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. — A 15-year-old boy who police say fatally stabbed his younger brother in a fight over loud music has been charged as an adult with manslaughter.
William Gorzynski remained held Tuesday after prosecutors filed the charge on Monday. A judge set bond at $10,000.
Gorzynski's attorney says the boy will remain in custody until his arraignment later this week. He says the boy could get 15 years in prison if convicted.
Authorities say the brothers were alone in their Coral Springs home on Oct. 26 when they argued about loud music on a computer. They say William Gorzynski then fatally stabbed his 14-year-old brother, Matthew.
Neither prosecutors nor the defense attorney immediately returned messages from The Associated Press on Tuesday.
