CINCINNATI — Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush will help raise funds for Ohio GOP governor candidate John Kasich (KAY'-sik) during a southwest Ohio swing.

Kasich spokesman Rob Nichols says Bush and Kasich will lead an economic development forum in Mason on Tuesday. Bush also will headline an earlier Republican governors fundraising breakfast in Cincinnati and an evening fundraiser for Kasich.

The brother of former President George W. Bush and son of ex-president George H.W. Bush served eight years as Florida's governor.

He's the latest in what's expected to be a long series of prominent political figures getting involved in the 2010 race for Ohio governor. Former President Bill Clinton last week led a pair of fundraising events for Democratic Gov. Ted Strickland.
