2 women killed in head-on crash in Martin County

<p>HOBE SOUND, Fla. — Two women were killed in a head-on crash in Martin County.</p><p>The Florida Highway Patrol reports that a car and a sport utility vehicle traveling on U.S. 1 crashed Wednesday afternoon on Hobe Sound. One woman died at the scene and another died while being flown by helicopter to a West Palm Beach hospital.</p><p>Traffic was stopped for several hours in both directions.</p><p>The cause of the crash was not clear.</p>
