BRANDON, Fla. — An Orlando teen has been charged with killing two people in a triple homicide that Hillsborough County detectives have been investigating since last week.
Osceola County authorities arrested 18-year-old Earl Jackson on Friday. He remained in jail Monday on two counts of first-degree murder and one count each of aggravated battery and aggravated assault.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office reports that deputies responded to a report of gunshots at a Brandon home Dec. 29. When officers arrived, they found the bodies of three men in the backyard. A fourth man was found injured a few blocks away.
Deputies are still searching for additional suspects. Investigators believe the shootings might have been gang-related.
