A week after losing two assistant coaches to other jobs, the Florida coaching staff could be facing further changes.
Three members on the staff - quarterbacks coach Scot Loeffler, cornerbacks coach Vance Bedford and new wide receivers coach Zach Azzanni - are on the candidate list for head-coaching openings at two different schools.
Loeffler and Bedford have been mentioned as candidates for the opening at Buffalo, which is looking to replace Turner Gill, who accepted the head coaching job at Kansas earlier this week.
Azzanni, hired last Friday to replace Billy Gonzales on the UF staff, is considered a possible strong candidate for the head-coaching job at the school he just left - Central Michigan. That job came open Wednesday.
Azzanni, Loeffler and Bedford were all on the road recruiting Wednesday and are expected back in Gainesville in the next day or two.
Last week, Gonzales left to become the passing game coordinator at LSU, while defensive coordinator Charlie Strong was named the head coach at Louisville. Strong will coach the UF defense through the Sugar Bowl. UF coach Urban Meyer has not named a replacement for Strong yet.
