Five questions with Florida offensive lineman Marcus Gilbert.

Q: How much grief have you gotten over the weeks for knocking (quarterback) (Tim) Tebow out like you did?

A: It still goes on. (People say) control your limbs and all kinds of crazy stuff like that. (It is) just jokingly, no threats. I hear it everywhere I go — the knee.

Q: Do you hear about it on campus, like students saying something? Friends, family? And what do you say?

A: Friends if I’m out to a couple places. I just laugh and say, “Hey, he’s playing now.”

Q:Aren’t you mad that no one’s concerned about your knee?

A:I got, like three, “How’s your knee?” and 100, “Why did you mess up Tebow?” “Why did you hurt Tebow?”

Q: Did you ever say anything to (Tebow), like, “Hey, I know it’s a freak play, but I’m sorry it happened that way?”

A: It’s football, stuff is going to happen. That’s all I told him.

Q: Did you even get a sore knee out of it?

A: No. I didn’t even get a bruise. I didn’t even know he hit my knee until I saw Tebow on the (ground). I felt it, but I didn’t know it was him. I get rolled up on all the time as an offensive lineman. You always have running backs running into the back of your legs.
