Q: What’s something on your iPod that might surprise people?

A: Miley Cyrus, Party in the USA. I heard it on Adam (Allen’s) CD the other day and I kind of liked it. I had to get it.

Q: If basketball was made illegal, what would you do?

A: I think I could go into the acting industry, or maybe become a golfer.

Q: What kind of actor would you be: Action star, Romeo-type?

A: I think I could do a little bit of everything. I’m always on my game. I like to play golf, too, though, so I’d have trouble deciding between those two.

Q: What’s your handicap?

A: I’m like an 88, 89, 90. I lived on a golf course all my life, so that helps out a little bit.

Q: What’s the last dream you had that you can remember?

A: Oh man. I wish Adam (Allen) was here to hear this. I meant to tell him earlier, because I just had this dream last night. It was the weirdest dream, but it’s hilarious. So last night, I’m sleeping, and I remember that I was at an outdoor court with coach (Larry)Shyatt . He tied my left hand behind my back and I was outside the 3-point line and he kept having me shoot tater tots through the hoop. Every time I missed, he’d just fire them back at me, but I didn’t have my left hand, so I couldn’t swat them away. My little cousin was in it and my girlfriend was in it. I kept getting tater tots in the face. Then I woke up. It was just weird.

Q: Finish this sentence: I use (blank) so much, I should be a sponsor. You can’t say tater tots, though.

A: (laughs) Nike. Everything is Nike since I was like 12 years old and Nike sponsored my AAU team. I’ve been all Nike since then.

Q: What’s your favorite pair of Nike shoes?

A: I’m a big Jordan guy. I like the Jordan 11s the most.

Q: What’s your favorite place to play outside of the O’Connell Center?

A: Vandy. I shot the ball there really well last year. I like the crowd. Their stadium is built kind of like a movie theatre. The court is raised up and the crowd is kind of under you. I definitely like playing there.

Q: Who’s your funniest teammate to hang out with?

A: Vern(on) Macklin. He’s a clown. He’s a big guy, but he has a big heart. He likes to joke around and he’s a really funny guy.

Q: What’s harder: Being a freshman and finding your way on the team or being an upperclassmen and having to find your leadership role?

A: I feel like I didn’t have a real hard time during my freshman year. I had some good guys to ask questions to and listen to like Walter Hodge and Dan Werner. Now, as a junior, I feel like I have to take on a new leadership role. Guys like (freshman forward) Erik Murphy and (guard) KennyBoynton will come and ask me questions and I kind of feel like I’m Erik’s dad or something. I’ve shown him where to eat, or where to get a haircut. I feel like on the court, I can be a leader like that too.

Q: What’s a guilty pleasure of yours?

A: The Bachelorette. I watch it all the time. I’m a big Bachelorette guy. I just watched the last season. I’m getting into that and Grey’s Anatomy.

Q: If you can be on any reality show, what would it be?

A: I’d want to be on Entourage, but that’s not really a reality show. Reality-wise, I’d want to be on Keeping up with the Kardashians. I’m a big fan of Kim (laughs).

Q: So is (Kim’s boyfriend) Reggie Bush.

A: Hey, I like him, too.
