SEC title rematch: Florida vs. Alabama

The matchup is set. It will be No. 3 Alabama vs. No. 1 Florida in the SEC Championship Game on Dec. 5 at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.

CBS television will broadcast the game. Kickoff is at 4 p.m.

Last year, No. 2 Florida defeated No. 1 Alabama 31-20. The Gators went on to defeat Oklahoma for the national title.

Alabama did its part Saturday to set up the rematch by defeating No. 9 LSU 24-15 in Tuscaloosa to win the West. The Gators clinched the SEC East last week by defeating Georgia 41-17.
