Q: Growing up in the state of Florida, how special has it been for you to be able to go back home a couple times to play Florida and did you have any connection with the Gators growing up?

A: It’s a good opportunity since I’m from Florida to go back home, a home-town team. Since all of my family is down there, they have the opportunity to come up and watch me play. Growing up, I wasn’t really into college football. I just played the game and wherever I landed, I landed. I was just out there playing football to play football. I just loved the sport, so it didn’t really matter what team was playing (in Florida).

Q: What was the winter transition like for you since leaving sunny South Florida for Nashville?

A:I had to bundle up because the weather is kind of shifty and it’s very unexpected. You never know what kind of weather you’re going to get. I just tried my best to bundle up and get used to the weather.

Q:With two brothers that have played in the NFL (Hamin and Hanik Milligan) and you having NFL potential yourself, of the three of you, who has the most overall athletic ability and why?

A:I would say I have the most athletic ability because growing up I played multiple positions from little league to high school. I had the opportunity to play both ways in college if they needed me to. Both of my brothers just played defense, but I was an offensive-minded guy as well.

Q: At the beginning of the season, you said that you saw more fire in the eyes of your teammates during the offseason and that there was no doubt you guys would feed off your bowl victory. With the tough season that you guys have had, how do you keep the spirits up and the emotions positive in the locker room?

A:We’re just going out there having fun and taking every play very seriously. Football is all about having fun, and if you’re not having fun, then there’s no reason to play.

Q: With only a few games left in your career at Vanderbilt, what are some things you are still looking to accomplish?

A:I want to get some more wins under my belt and just have fun. I’ve had the opportunity to start (at Vanderbilt), so I just want to go out and play to the best of my abilities.
