COLUMBIA, S.C. — South Carolina starting defensive tackle Travian Robertson has had surgery on his torn ACL.
Robertson injured the right knee ligament in the Gamecocks' 16-10 win over Mississippi on Sept. 24. Team physician, Dr. Jeff Guy, performed the surgery and said it was successful.
Robertson is a junior from Laurinberg, N.C., who had eight tackles in four starts before getting hurt. He played in 25 games, with one start, his first two seasons.
Coach Steve Spurrier has said he expected Robertson to make a full recovery in time for next season.
