Will he or won't he?
Should he or shouldn't he?
Has a Florida game ever been shrouded in so many questions?
The answers will come Saturday night when Florida takes the field against LSU. For every so-called expert who has an opinion on whether or not Tim Tebow will play there's another one lined up behind him with an opinion on whether or not he should play.
Florida has followed a plan on this, a planned devised by very smart people who don't make a living writing for Web sites or taking calls from Gus in Alpharetta, and the plan won't be completed until Tebow is tested on Saturday. If he has a headache or can't remember where he left his Crocs, he won't play.
If he's asymptomatic, it will be up to Urban Meyer.
This is a tough call for Meyer as it would be for any coach with any player. But this isn't any player. And to be honest, it's a decision only Meyer can or should make along with the Tebow family. It certainly should not be made by someone who has not spoken to Tebow since SEC Media Days.
The other big question involves John Brantley. How mentally prepared will he be after a week of being told to get ready to start, then sharing practice snaps with the best player in college football? You're starting. Well, maybe. Get ready. In case. But you're starting. We think.
My gut feeling is that Brantley will start and Tebow, only if he is 100 percent cleared, will be the backup because he's been limited in practice. But will I be surprised if No. 15 runs out there for the first snap? Not at all.
Gator Nation, prepare to hold your collective breath.
