HIALEAH, Fla. — Three top Republicans are in South Florida to talk about national health care overhaul efforts.
Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, Sen. John McCain of Arizona and outgoing Sen. Mel Martinez of Florida will take on the issue Tuesday afternoon at Palmetto General Hospital in Hialeah.
The question-and-answer event is not open to the general public, which is drawing the ire of Democrats, who plan to protest outside.
