Florida senior soccer player senior Ashlee Elliott will miss the rest of the season after suffering a torn ACL in her left knee in Sunday's win over South Florida.

Elliott, a midfield/forward, was an All-Southeastern Conference first- team selection for the second consecutive year last season.

She scored the match-winning goal in the season-opening 1-0 win at Miami.

The Gators (3-0) head to the Midwest this weekend for a pair of matches. Florida faces Indiana (3-0, 0-0 Big Ten) at 1 p.m. Friday. Then the Gators heads to Champaign, Ill., to face No. 9 UCLA (0-1-1, 0-0 Pac 10) on Sunday at noon. Both matches can be heard on and Sunday’s match can also be heard live on AM-850.
