No. 13 ROLANDO McCLAIN

Alabama junior linebacker

Why he's No. 13: He was All-SEC and a Butkus Award finalist last season as a sophomore. He's fast and aggressive and makes plays from sideline to sideline. At 6-foot-4, 249 pounds, he's an athletic freak, the kind you tend to see at linebacker in the SEC. He's been projected as a first-round NFL pick if he comes out early.

Key number: Last season, McClain had 12 tackles for losses and recorded three sacks. He also intercepted a pass and forced two fumbles.

Fun fact: He is only the eighth player in Alabama history to start the season-opener as a true freshman. He's been making plays ever since in his 23 career starts.
